June Laffey – Learn to stop doing and be all you can be…

Meet June Laffey

I live in the most incredible, energetically charged place at Topi Topi, 3 hours North of NSW with my very naughty labrador, Lovey. Incredible things seem to happen to me all the time. I grew up in a seaside town in England, Great Yarmouth, where there are more pubs per capita than anywhere else in the UK. I think I visited every one of them back in the day – several times! I am highly intuitive, and integrity, honesty is really important to me. As is having fun. You have to laugh.

What business are you currently running?

I am running a spiritual retreat, where people can learn to stop doing and be all they can be.

Assuming you are now in “Your Next Chapter”, what led you here? Was there an internal discontent or an external issue you felt strongly about that prompted a change in direction?

I asked to be of service after receiving what I felt was some deep healing at a spiritual retreat in Brazil. At that point, my life changed, and I started to receive incredible spiritual gifts. I was working in corporate, at the top of my industry as Chief Creative Officer in New York. I had been questioning my path for a while. When covid hit, I returned to Australia and realised I had no choice. I had been given gifts – I could help people.

So that is what I am doing now.

What did you find most challenging about getting started/moving in a new direction?

Simple. The security of doing something I knew and was really good at that provided great financial abundance was hard to leave for something unknown. Especially when leaving to enter into something many consider woo woo – I totally outed myself only on my birthday on June 17. I have never been happier.

What have you found most fulfilling?

It is such early days in terms of starting my business, but I have been channelling for a while. When I channel for people and I see that light go on, or they feel the energy or physical shifts in their body, nothing compares.

Have you experienced self-doubt? What causes it to flare and how do you work through it when it hits?

Self-doubt is part of it. Can I make a living from this? And indeed for a long time, I felt my gifts are from the divine, so how could I charge for them? But the more I trust the more opens up. I haven’t really got time for self-doubt. I have a big job to do. To show people they can stand in their own truth, I had to do the same thing first. Lead by example.

How do you feel you have grown since you started?

I have learned my value. And as I trust more, the more I am given. I asked my guides what I needed to do on the one-on-one retreats – how would I possibly fill three days. And then I channelled an incredible Academy of Light handbook to help.

This is just one example. The more I trust, the more I grow. And this is my real growth.

Have you developed any particular habits/strategies that facilitate getting things done in your business?

I am a lot more present on social media than I have ever been, I walk an hour every morning before I start work to clear my mind and set me up for the day. Plus I have a crystal bed healing at least four times a week.

I offer gratitude every day. And I plan content – but still allow to always be inflow.

Why do you feel women in the 40’s and beyond make fabulous entrepreneurs?

We are very much more in tune with our intuition and really good at just getting shit done. Most females I know are also fabulous multi-taskers and nurturing. This makes for great teams. I believe that you need to empower people. My want now is spiritual empowerment, and waking up full soul potential in people.

What would you say to other women who are standing on the edge of their own Next Chapter, not sure if they can take the leap?

If you don’t leap, it’s hard to fly. Follow your intuition as it’s your inner voice – energy – that is leading you to where your soul wants to go.

What’s next for you? Share your vision with us!

Well – I keep channelling the Dahli Lama is coming to Topi Topi retreat! Others tell me that m my land is sacred and it will be a spiritual mecca with leaders from the world visiting. So what’s next is I’m gonna be busy!
