Success isn't always what it seems
I’ve been self-employed since 2003, after leaving the corporate world, and from the outside, it may have looked like I’d cracked the success formula. I built a thriving small business marketing agency from my dining room table, leading a talented team that served clients across three states.
But under the surface? I was stuck in what I now call “Perpetual Potential.”
It was hugely frustrating. Even as I ticked off the milestones, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I wasn’t quite hitting my stride. My mind sparked with ideas, and I was always ready to take action - but finishing them? That was another story. The consistency I needed to turn my energy into the level of meaningful progress and impact I envisaged? - that felt like a skill designed for someone else entirely.
I kept my doubts largely to myself, papered over the cracks, and powered on with the enthusiasm I had. For a while, it worked - I gradually shifted from agency life into the consulting and mentoring that’s a much better match for me.
But deep down, I knew I was capable of so much more and the only reason I could find to explain the gap between where I was and where I wanted to be? Well, it had to be me. I just wasn't good enough.
The Turning Point.
At 53, my ADHD diagnosis changed everything. Suddenly, the struggles I’d faced made sense:
- The 101 ideas? My supercharged divergent thinking brain at work.
- The self-doubt? Years of trying to fit into systems that weren’t designed for me.
- The constant pivoting? My gift for seeing endless possibilities waiting to be harnessed.
It was a revelation - and a turning point.
Since then, I’ve spent my time understanding my differently wired brain and recalibrating my life and work to fit me, not the other way around. This shift didn’t just change how I work - it changed how I see myself.
Practising self-leadership allowed me to stop seeking external validation and anchor myself in my internal authority. It helped me rebuild my self-worth, trust my decisions, and recalibrate my business to leverage my natural strengths.
What a relief!

"I believe every female business owner who is neurodivergent needs you! You're the first coach I've ever felt real synergy with because you're a kindred spirit. I've invested so much in the past and have never moved or progressed as far as I have with you. You're worth every cent!"
Why I See You So Clearly
As I learned what I had always described as my "Sparky Brain" was actually ADHD, I also realised how much I had in common with many of the women I was working with:
- A whirlwind of ideas paired with a deeply empathetic heart.
- A commitment to meaningful, purposeful work.
- Ambitions thwarted by overwhelm, self-doubt, and a struggle with consistency.
Whether you’re a business owner, career professional, or navigating a transition, I SO understand the unique challenges and opportunities you face.
Maybe you’re working tirelessly but feel like you’re just not quite where you want to be. Or perhaps you’re standing at a crossroads, ready to redefine what success looks like for you.
I see you so clearly because I am you.
We all need someone who can help us create a path to our highest potential. Someone who believes fiercely in what’s possible for us - even when we don’t yet believe it ourselves.
How I can help
My work is built around helping my like-minded, fellow sparky-brained women:
- Craft strategies that align with your values and amplify your strengths.
- Rebuild your work to fit you - whether that means refining your offerings, creating scalable frameworks, building a standout brand, or designing systems that align with your goals.
- Replace self-doubt with self-leadership so you can act with clarity and confidence.
- Transform overwhelm into traction, turning your ideas into meaningful progress.
- Develop sparky-brain-friendly systems that support consistency without stifling your creativity.
Together, we’ll cultivate the clarity, confidence, and momentum to move you from Perpetual Potential to Purposeful Progress.
As one client put it, “Working together feels like releasing a handbrake I didn’t even realise was on.”

"Angela has helped me see areas of growth I hadn’t been aware of. Through our work together, I’ve gained so much - my vision is clear and I now have more self-compassion and self-understanding. I feel more confident and positive, no longer stuck in a rut. I’m kinder to myself, which allows me to achieve more without feeling frazzled".
Why this work matters
I believe your work should serve you as much as you serve others. It should energise, fulfil, and reward you - not drain you. Sometimes you need someone outside of yourself to see the big picture and help you untangle the overwhelm and frustration to make that possible.
If you’re ready to embrace your strengths, quiet the self-doubt, and step into your next chapter with confidence, let’s talk.
